Find Your Fit. Shape Your Future.
About Us
Future Fit is an Ontario-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to breaking the financial barriers that post-secondary students face when preparing for their careers. We believe that no student should be held back simply because they cannot afford the professional attire expected at interviews, networking events, competitions, job fairs, or workplace placements.
We understand the reality students live every day, balancing tuition costs, demanding coursework, and limited work opportunities. Yet, despite these pressures, they’re still expected to show up “presentable” in ways that often require expensive, inaccessible clothing.
That’s where Future Fit steps in.
We provide students with free, career-ready attire and accessories that not only help them look the part but feel confident stepping into their futures. Our mission is to empower students with dignity, support, and opportunity as they transition from the classroom to their careers.
Whether you’re looking to access our services or support our work, we invite you to join us in breaking down these barriers; one outfit, one opportunity, and one future at a time.
We can help.
Meet the Founder
Kayla Malcolm
Kayla Malcolm is a youth entrepreneur, community advocate, and the proud founder of Future Fit. As a student navigating her own post-secondary journey, Kayla experienced the financial pressures, confidence gaps, and lack of accessible career support that so many young people across Ontario face. She saw how overwhelming it can be to prepare for the professional world without guidance, representation, or the resources needed to show up as your best self. Future Fit was born out of her belief that no student should have to navigate that transition alone.
Kayla brings to the organization a mix of lived experience, vision, and a deep commitment to student empowerment. She has a unique ability to listen to student voices, understand their real-world barriers, and design programming that is practical, culturally aware, and genuinely supportive. Her leadership ensures that every Future Fit initiative, whether mentorship, professional attire support, financial empowerment workshops, or wellness programming, uplifts and equips students to enter the workforce with confidence.
For Kayla, Future Fit is more than an organization; it’s a movement toward equity, access, and opportunity. It’s a space where students can build skills, strengthen their identity, and walk into their careers with strength, style, and self-belief.
